HSO Achieves ISO 27001 Certification

HSO has achieved certification in the UK to the internationally recognised ISO 27001:2013 standard for compliance to international information security standards. This builds on the organisation’s recent success in achieving this premium certification in HSO Netherlands and HSO Global Managed Services. The independent assessment was conducted by the British Assessment Bureau, a leading certification body, and demonstrates the organisation’s commitment to keeping its data, staff and premises secure.

The certification was achieved following a one day assessment to analyse our policies, interview key staff including the Managing Director and randomly sample evidence from the Information Security Management System. The combination of these activities provided a clear demonstration to the auditor that working practices match policy and processes.

HSO now has the right to display the coveted British Assessment Bureau quality shield and logo to demonstrate its conformance to the standard. The project was sponsored from the highest levels of management, and engaged staff across the business.

With ISO27001 in place, HSO strengthens its credibility in the market as well as adding further value to its existing customer relationships.

The ISO 27001 is the internationally recognised Information Security Management standard that proves an organisation’s commitment to the security of their customer and employee information. Consisting of 114 separate controls, the standard places an emphasis on identifying and managing risks as an ongoing process.
